Spanish horse papers have been the subject of many queries we have helped to resolve over the years.
Let me say at the outset that PRE paperwork in Spain is carefully maintained, detailed and well done. If it is handled correctly, there are no problems with registration papers for a spanish horse.
What follows is a collection of pages dealing with some of the common questions we receive about spanish horse papers. Also coming soon, a record of some of the cases weve worked on, together with the answers and advice we provided.
One of the original functions of our websites was to provide resources and free information, to open up a window to Spain so others could share what we live.
We have always done this at no cost, and as you may imagine, it takes up time. It carries its own harvest in the fun contact and the many e-friends we have made over the years.

Over the years, I have dealt with numerous cases concerning papers of horses bought from Spain. The same stories repeated in various forms. Often the problems have originated with mis-information - or even dis-information.
Im hoping that these real life cases may help by addressing common concerns. Sometimes a horselover pursuing that special dream can be helped by a gentle shake that reminds them to check some things out before signing.
