Spanish Horse Mane Plait

The traditional spanish horse mane plait has various forms. Those long manes do sometimes have to be braided up out of the way, and of course there are the correct plaits for showing classes.

Traditional spanish mane plaits and tail knots can be learned.

The following video is a fun vid, made up of out-takes from a shoot I was doing for a friend.

A full ’how to’ video on braiding and plaiting the manes of spanish and andalusian horses is in planning. Also a video on how to tie the knots in the tail of a doma vaquera horse.
