Emilio Ordoñez Redondo graduated from the Real Escuela del Arte Ecuestre, Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, in 2005. The Royal School is considered one of Europe’s 4 major National dressage centres, along with Vienna, Saumur, and Portugal. In his entry year Emilio was one of just 3 candidates chosen out of 150 applicants. For four years he trained directly under Olympic medallist, Rafael Soto, who is Senior Instructor at the School, and who involves himself with the younger promising riders. He was then asked to stay on for a 5th year as a student teacher. |

On leaving the Escuela, Emilio spent 4 years as a rider at CAR-ANCCE, the Centre for Higher Training of the National Association for the PRE, which concentrates on producing top level PREs for dressage. In addition, he trained and presented specific horses for National Carthusian Stud at La Cartuja. |
