I have spent more than half my life involved in factual reporting, documentary film-making and communications. I read widely, watch videos and study photographs, listen to others, look out for new aspects.
And the researcher in me can’t help but analyze what I encounter. In the ’anyone speaks and anything goes’ world of internet, it is sometimes difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Canovas Media - Where it Began
I wrote once on a long-ago ’blog that I have spent half my life involved in factual reporting, documentary film-making and communications. All that really means is that I like talking, and I found a way to make it look like I was working at the same time!
That love of talking kept me occupied presenting live TV around a fair portion of the world. It was a great life while I was in it, and it was exactly what I wanted to be doing.
Working with the News Department, I had ongoing fun, travelled, got into some tight spots. I met and interviewed a grand variety of people, including a man who had walked on the moon, a couple of Nobel Prize winners, and a lot of everyday heroes.
